Simple Recycling will be closing its Raleigh facility due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on their business. Therefore, they will no longer collect textile recycling in Raleigh area municipalities, including Apex.
The last day to receive this service is June 19th. Please place your orange bags out during this week on your normal recycling day for final collection.
We encourage residents to continue to donate items in good condition. Wake County solid waste convenience centers will accept clothing in any condition for reuse. The closest site to Apex is located at 6120 Old Smithfield Rd.
