[ARCHIVED] You're Invited to Shape the Future through Peak Plan 2055

What’s your dream for Apex? That’s the question we’re asking as we launch Peak Plan 2055, an 18-month community-driven planning effort to guide the town’s growth, conservation, and transportation investments through the year 2055.

Peak Plan 2055 will provide Town leaders with a roadmap for making long-term decisions about development, housing, economic opportunities, transportation, and open space conservation. Community input will be at the center every step of the process.

“Apex’s strength has always been our community,” said Apex Mayor Jacques K. Gilbert. “Peak Plan 2055 is our chance to work towards a shared community vision that we want for ourselves and future generations.”

The planning process is divided into three phases, each including public engagement opportunities. Peak Plan 2055 will provide an updated comprehensive vision that reflects the priorities, values, and aspirations of the Apex community.

Public Forum 1

Community members are encouraged to attend the first of three public forums this October. Each session will include information about existing conditions in Apex today and provide opportunities to share ideas for the town’s future. Staff will be on hand to answer questions and collect feedback.
