Educational Programs and Services

Public Education Requests

The Apex Fire Department Education and Community Engagement Division offer a variety of public education classes and services. Please see below for a full list and description of classes and services.

Community education program and services requests must be submitted via the Public Education Request Form

Due to our Firefighters working on a rotating schedule, we require a 14-day notice prior to your event. Required departmental training makes various dates unavailable for public education classes, but we will offer alternative dates when possible. We look forward to partnering with you soon!

Please note: Our Fire Department does not do birthday parties at this time.

Camp IGNITE demonstrates what a career in public safety can look like by providing an immersive experience that includes daily firefighting related exercises and trainings designed to encourage self-confidence, knowledge, and leadership skills.

Stay tuned for summer 2026 dates!
