The Town of Apex has legislative authority to publish legal notice of public hearings online versus printing these notices in a local newspaper. All legal notices for public hearings for the following items will be posted on this page: Annexations, Board of Adjustment Variances or Appeal Cases, Major Site Plans, Rezoning Requests, Special Use Permits, Transportation Plan Amendments, and Unified Development Ordinance Amendments.

March 9, 2021

The Town Council meeting on March 9th will be held virtually. Since that meeting will be virtual, no votes will be taken on public hearing items as the comment period must remain open for 24 hours after the Council meeting per State law. Public hearings will be scheduled for the next Town Council meeting. Please note that at this subsequent meeting, Town Council may choose to vote on the item, table the discussion to a later date, or take other action which would delay Council action to another time.

You may provide comments for the March 9th Town Council meeting no later than noon on Monday, March 8, 2021, by email (, 350-word limit) or voicemail (919-362-7300, 3-minute limit) according to the Remote Participation Policy at:  You must provide your name and address for the record. These comments will be read during the Town Council meeting.

Comments for the next Council meeting must be submitted no later than 24 hours after the end of the March 9th Town Council meeting by the same means specified above.
