The Town of Apex Electric Utility Department along with ElectriCities of North Carolina are providing you with an online energy tool known as Weather Insights. You can access this tool anytime by clicking "Learn More" in the box below.
Weather Insight helps you understand the impact of weather on your utility bill. It is a web service that gives you the local weather forecast for Apex for seven days and predicts energy costs for those seven days. All that is required is that you answer 10 questions about your home in order for the program to predict the energy cost for your home.
Weather insights applies our energy rates and local weather to determine energy costs for a default residence. By using the "My Profile" tab, residence can adjust the variables that influence energy costs, like residence size, number of people, type of heating and cooling, etc. *Please note that results are approximations and actual results may vary.
