The town's Code of Ordinances are local laws which are enforced locally in addition to state and federal laws. They are enacted into law by a majority vote of the Town Council.
Unified Development Ordinance
The Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) was adopted and enacted August 1, 2000 as an Ordinance of the Town of Apex effecting Chapter 19: Subdivisions and Chapter 22: Zoning of the Code of Ordinances.
Chapters 19 and 22 of the Code of Ordinances shall no longer apply to development, property and situations which are governed by the Unified Development Ordinance. Reference Chapter 17-6 Code of Ordinances.
