StoryWalk® at the Parkstorywalk small sign

We introduced StoryWalk® to Apex over the last couple years as a fun and safe way to recreate outdoors. This activity is currently on hold as we assess the future of continuing StoryWalk®s around our parks.

The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. Storywalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.

If you have participated in one of our Storywalks®, we would love for you to share your feedback here

Kids in Parks TRACK Trailkids in park

We re excited to partner with Kids in Parks to bring a TRACK Trail to the path around Lake Pine in Apex Community Park.

When you visit the park, you will find this new kiosk at the trailhead next to the shelters. Drive in from the Laura Duncan entrance (2200 Laura Duncan Rd) all the way back to the end of the parking lot.
